Create a construction themed story time at home by using the following suggestions:
Books:
The Magic Toolbox by Mie Araki
Alphabet Under Construction by Denise Fleming
Craft:
Make your own tool belt by using felt, velcro, and the links listed below to print the tools you will need.
Supplies:
- Felt
- Sticky back velcro
- Crayons or markers
- Scissors
- Measuring tape
- Printer
Instructions:
- Cut felt 2 inches wide by the length of the childs waist. Add a couple of inches to the length to attach velcro.
- Print tools from the links listed below:
- Color and cut out tools.
- Attach sticky back velcro to the back of each tool. Also attach sticky back velcro to one side of the felt tool belt.
