Welcome to the Hermiston Public Library Teen Page

This page has information about teen programming, the Teen Advisory Council, and library resources of interest to teens.  Should you have any ideas or suggestions on how to help us "grow" this page please feel free to email us at kmartinez at hermiston dot or dot us.

Teen Zone

The Hermiston Public Library has set up a special teen area in the library.  Come in and hang out to read, do homework, or just hang around.

Teen Advisory Council (TAC)

The library has a Teen Advisory Council.  TAC provides input to the library to ensure that the best possible services, programs, and library materials are provided for teens.  TAC membership is open to any teens in grades 6-12.  Meetings are on the 3rd Monday of the month at 4 p.m.  Download the TAC brochure.  It includes the TAC application form.  Print it, fill it out, have a parent sign it, and join the fun.

Online Services

The library has many online services that may be of interest to teens.  Whether it's help with tests, research papers, or just relaxing with a good book, we've got you covered.  See our Online Services page for more details.

Book Rave

The Oregon Young Adult Network (OYAN) publishes Book Rave every year, a list of Best Books for Teens.  You can download the 2014 edition or visit the Book Rave site for previous year's lists.
